Things Needed To Have Multiple Google Business Profiles At One Address
Here's a list of things required to have separate Google Business Profiles for different "Practices" at the same address.
- Unique Tax ID
- Utility bills assigned to the business
- What other practices has done is have their water and power assigned to one business, and their internet and phone bill on another
- Permanent exterior signage
- Permanent interior signage where you meet face-to-face with customers
- I.E. in your front lobby or at your front desk
Good to haves:
- Separate "unique" phone lines per business
- Getting a phone line that forwards to the other business is OK - HOWEVER, Google does use the phone number field to identify potential duplicate business listing, making it much safer to have a seperate number
- Only problem with phone lines is that Google does not interact with phone trees, so any automated Google calls will need any phone trees taken down
- Separate websites
Google does not account for Suite Numbers on their backend, so it does not matter if you separate them by suite or not.
If the practice cannot fullfill these requirements, it's against Google's guidelines to have separate Business Profiles, and can lead to suspensions in the future.
